Situated between Lagos and Salema is the fishing village of Burgau.

With a small sandy beach, and only 10 minutes from most of Vigia Resorts, Burgau is a quiet little village for almost the entire year. Whilst the beach at Burgau is quite small in comparison to some of the surrounding beaches, don’t let this put you off, as it is extremely pretty.

There are several bars and restaurants in town, at which to while away the hot Algarve summer nights with your favourite bottle of Portuguese wine.

In addition, there are a handful of small shops and grocery stores.
